Problem Solving Skills
Students will learn and refine both problem solving techniques and computer programming skills. Examples, exercises and projects will be taken from a wide range of mathematical topics.
Instructor's Notes
This problem-solving course is intended to teach you how to apply analytical sense and computational capabilities to real life problems. Problems are introduced in the beginning of the course that creates a basis for your final project. We go over process problems, rate problems, and then cover the strategies for solving these problems; both computational and analytical. Therefore, it’s necessary that you attend class to get the full credit for your final project. Your final project is a chance
