DURING THESE WEEKS WE WILL READ AND DISCUSS CLASSIC ARTICLES BY JOSHUA ANGRIST, CHARLIE BROWN, DAVID CARD, DEREK NEAL, AND ALAN KRUEGER. THE REMAINDER OF THE COURSE WILL FOCUS ON ARTICLES THAT EXPLORE THE DETERMINANTS OF CRIME, SUBSTANCE USE, SEXUAL BEHAVIOR, AND PEER EFFECTS. WE WILL READ AND DISCUSS RECENT RESEARCH BY, AMONG OTHERS, CHRISTOPHER CARPENTER, HARRELL CHESSON, THOMAS DEE, JASON FLETCHER, AND RAFAEL DI TELLA.
